Does pressure washing hose length effect pressure?

The length of a hose can effect performance, but not necessarily in a noticeable way. Longer pressure washer hose will slightly decrease the water pressure at the nozzle due to friction and the resistance of moving a larger volume of water. However, this effect is generally negligible for most users under normal conditions with appropriately sized, high-quality hoses. The loss doesn't significantly affect performance unless you are using a machine that is undersized for the hose length (100ft or more) or the hose is very long and/or too small in diameter for the flow.
